You can download the hmv tickets app at any time from either Apple's App Store or Android's Google Play. If your e-ticket is issued before the app has been installed on your device, you’ll receive an SMS message prompting you to download the app; if the app is already installed, you’ll instead receive a push notification from the app to let you know that you have a new e-ticket.
When first attempting to use the app, it will ask you to allow notifications (this is just so we can inform you when you receive a new e-ticket and any updates regarding your upcoming event). When you’ve accepted notifications, you’ll then need to create an account, or log into the account, using the same name and UK mobile phone number used when placing your order. The app will send a verification code to your device that you’ll need to enter into the app and then you’re good to go!
The homepage will show you if you have any e-tickets; e-tickets will be stacked and you’ll simply need to scroll up and down if you have more than one to view. If you don’t have any e-tickets in the app straight away, don’t worry. It may be that they haven’t been issued yet so please check the event page on hmv.com/live for more details of when the e-tickets are due to be issued, this is usually around a week before the event begins.
